Cancellation, Returns, & Refunds Policy

Our aim is always to delight our adopting families and ensure that you and your new puppy from Soul Stone Kennels are a great match. We also know that sometimes circumstances change that would require special attention.

Cancellation

While we do not accept general returns of puppies in transit or delivered, you are entitled to cancel your puppy delivery any time prior to the puppy leaving our kennel. If this happens, you are eligible to receive a partial refund of up to 50% of the post-deposit price. The exact refund will be determined after adjustments are made for the non-refundable reservation fee, applicable veterinary fees, any fees paid to the transportation vendor where applicable, and liquidated damages for lost opportunity, care, and other administrative costs.

To cancel your puppy's delivery, please send an email to info@soulstonekennels.com informing us of your cancellation decision. Please note that the email must be delivered and confirmed received as evidenced by a reply email from Soul Stone Kennels prior to the puppy's transport date.

We will initiate any refund via the same method of payment used to make your purchase within 10 business days of your cancellation. Exact timing of your refund is dependent upon your payment service's terms and conditions. You are responsible for covering any third-party vendor fees assessed (i.e., credit card processing fees, etc.).

Returns

Because of the very personal nature of the process involved in transitioning a young puppy from its mother, littermates, and breeder home, our standard is policy is "no returns after the puppy leaves our kennel" except in limited circumstances, which are detailed in the Sales Contract.

Refunds

In the event that your Soul Stone Kennels puppy has a bona fide genetic abnormality that diminishes its quality, disrupts its quality of life, or requires significant investment in time or money to manage, we may consider providing a refund or replacement. Any abnormality must be identified within the puppy's first 12 months of life (or within 6 months of Buyer's possession, whichever is later) by a licensed small animal veterinarian.
