Everyone we've met simply LOVES our Miniature American Shepherds. Demand is high, and sometimes outpaces our litter availability. Prudent puppy-seekers choose to get in line and reserve their puppies ahead of their birth. We accept deposits in advance of whelping dates and start placing reserved puppies with families on our waitlist before advertising puppies online for the broader population.

Reservation Fee*

1. A non-refundable $300.00 reservation fee is required to reserve a puppy in an existing, listed litter.

2. To secure your place on the waitlist for a future litter not yet whelped, we require a $200.00 reservation fee, refundable as described below:

   • 100% is refundable in the event a future litter is either unavailable within 12 months or does not produce your requested sex/color combination within 12 months

   • 50% of the waitlist reservation fee is refundable should you opt out of adopting a puppy before a new litter is whelped

   • 0% of the waitlist reservation fee is refundable if you opt out of adopting a puppy after a new litter is whelped

*Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of cancellation. Monies will be returned via the same method of payment used for the initial reservation fee. Without prior written agreement, non-refundable $300 deposits are forfeit if buyer does not complete purchase by age 12 weeks or within 3 weeks of reservation if puppy is reserved after age 9 weeks.

I've Reserved My Puppy, Now What?

Reservations and waitlist positions are assigned on a 1st come-1st served basis based on the date/time the reservation fee is received. We will confirm your place on the list when your reservation is secured.

Week 1

When the puppies from your desired litter are born, we will notify you via email or text as soon as possible. At that time, you will have an opportunity to confirm your interest, defer to a later litter, or cancel your reservation. Should you confirm your interest, we will continue along with the process below:

Week 3

We will provide you with individual pictures of the puppy you reserved. By this time, your puppy's eyes should be open and their coloring and markings should be more distinctive.

Weeks 4-8

We typically have all reservations confirmed and finalized by Week 4. This is an exciting time! From this point, we will send personalized updates weekly so you can share in your puppy's milestones.

We will schedule your puppy's "go home" date and work with you to make arrangements for final payment and pickup or delivery. We offer puppy nanny services, which ensures your new puppy is cared for and looked after on his or her way home to you!

Weeks 9-12

This is a bittersweet time. Sweet for you because you finally get to bring your new fur baby home! "Bitter" for Soul Stone because we will have to say goodbye to our sweet puppies. We send your newest family member home with a puppy pack, which includes medical history, starter kibble, a collar and leash, a puppy blanket, and a piece of cloth bearing mom and littermates' scents.
